Kiya and Caden Wilson made these incredibly rich and fabulous brownies with fudge sauce for the recent Susie's Cooking Contest. They won second place in the youth division narrowing missing first by a mere 1.5 points.

Judy Hackett won the adult division of the recent Susie's Cooking Contest with this very popular cheesecake. Judges, farmers' market vendors and shoppers all had a taste of this wonderful treat.

Susie's Cooking Contest was held last Friday at the Lodi Valley Farmers' Market. The winner in the youth division was Cindy Jocz. She made these amazing, soft, chewy, flavorful variation of snickerdoodles. I have to agree with the judges that these were impressive cookies. They were star quality and the judges loved the name!
